Privacy

What we collect

No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics of our own. We do not store the URLs you scan, the results, or anything that identifies you. Each scan is handled in memory and discarded when the response is sent.

What a scan actually does

When you submit a URL, our server makes a single HTTP request to that address from our infrastructure — not from your browser — and reads the HTML it returns. The site you scan will see that request in its own logs, including our server's IP address. It will not see yours. We execute no JavaScript from the scanned page and follow at most four redirects.

Local storage

If you unlock a remediation prompt, we record that fact in your browser's session storage so you are not asked again during the same visit. It is a single flag, it never leaves your device, and closing the tab erases it.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, and may use information about your visits to this and other sites to show ads for products and services that interest you. This includes Google's use of advertising cookies, which enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits here and elsewhere on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Google's own handling of this data is described in the Google privacy & terms.

Some prompts are unlocked by watching a rewarded ad. Whether you watch it, skip it, or block it entirely, you get the prompt — the ad is a request, not a toll gate.
