What it is
How the words were written. A human under deadline writes like this too. Copy tells are suggestive, never conclusive.
How it is weighted
14 points puts this in the upper tier — strong evidence, though the curve saturates, so it means far more on a clean page than as the tenth tell on a page already covered in them.
What to do about it
Rewrite the H1 so it could not sit on a competitor's site. Say what the thing is and who it is for, in words the customer would use.
Where it fires
Of the homepages we scan as worked examples, this signal fired on one:
- github.com 7/100 — Grammatically confident, semantically empty — swap in any competitor's name and it still fits.
